A New Years Eve Celebration of the Arts in Historic Winchester, Virginia

The First Night Winchester Coloring Contest is presented by the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. Coloring sheets are available at: the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, participating Old Town Winchester merchants, the Winchester-Frederick County Visitor Center and McDonald’s® of Winchester.

Entry Categories:

  • Child (7 yrs & under)
  • Youth (8–12 yrs)
  • Teen (13–17 yrs)
  • Adult (18+ yrs)

All participants will receive one complimentary admission ticket to visit the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley (MSV).

Prizes – One winner in each category will receive:

  • A one-year family membership to the MSV ($75 value),
  • A family four-pack of buttons to FirstNight Winchester ($40 value),
  • A package of McDonald’s ® gift cards, and
  • Two tickets for a free movie at the Alamo (and free popcorn, too!).


One entry per person. To be eligible to win a prize, you must bring (or mail) your completed coloring sheet to the Visitor Information Desk in the MSV by 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2014. The MSV is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday (closed on Thanksgiving and December 24 and 25). Contest winners will be contacted on December 30. The four winning entries will be on display in the MSV lobby on December 31.
